Berry lives in Portland, Oregon with her wife, Lisa. She is pursuing a master’s degree in public health while working part-time. She lives with and looks after Lisa, who has a chronic illness and is pursuing an MBA at a top university. Berry’s 75-year-old mother lives in Costa Rica, suffers from dementia, and is blind. Her mother requires 12 hours of caregiving daily to stay safe.
